Webster County School states their mission to be:
"The mission of the Webster County School District is the education of its youth to the extent that each will be prepared to pursue his/her life time goals, satisfy his/her personal, physical and social needs, and assume responsible and productive citizenship in a democratic society. In providing a school program to meet the needs, the values, aspirations and demands of the community, this will be reflected in the curriculum and method of instruction. The programs of instruction will be designed and administered as to meet the diverse needs of individual students."
