Great-grandfather
Edward Erastus Rankin (1820-1889) Husband of Emily Watkinson
and father of eight children. The New York Public Library holds a
copy of Edward's Centennial commemoration of the burning of Fairfield,
Connecticut given in 1879. Ironic since he came from a long
